This sushi place was open 30 minutes later than most others so ended up here. Great menu with tons of appealing options, was hard to choose - everything sounded really good. Tuna heavy menu. Big Mac was one of our favorite items, Negitoro was good (as menu says pretty fatty!), we loved the crispy rice with tuna. Overall glad we ended up here, would come back.

We had dinner for our anniversary last night and it was delish! The staff was super nice and also accommodating to my allergies. (The menu lists all the ingredients in more detail than most places which was a huge help for allergies!) We had the shrimp shumai as an app and had to order a second time it was so good. Then we split three of their main rolls, had several drinks, and couldnโt say no to desert! The atmosphere was really cool and we got to sit at the bar to watch them make our food which was fun. Do recommend. They were fairly busy for a Tuesday so Iโm sure they are busy busy on the weekends. We made a reservation and would recommend if you want a spot when itโs busy to do the same. It was super easy to do and you can modify if needed. Thank you IWAK!
Iwak is so good! I love their sushi, itโs super fresh and tasty. And the choco bomb is a must-try, so fun and delicious. Definitely one of my fave spots to eat.
hear a lot about this restaurant and just try it today, SO GOOD will definitely comeback and also the atmosphere is amazing comfy especially the vanquish in toro , chef kiss for them
Yum! First time eating here and would happily come back. The drinks are tasty and very reasonably priced. The special rolls were delicious, a lot of good options for every type of sushi lover. The seared scallop roll and the greenwich rolls were delicious. I do think for special rolls, they could add a bit more rice to the rolls as we are paying a higher price. They definitely donโt skimp out on the fish! The salmon oba appetizer was decent. I think the shiso leaf was too oily and lost all the shiso flavor. Service was standard. I believe thereโs a back outdoor seating as well. Overall, Would recommend for a nice sushi date or just an evening out!
One of the best sushi spots in NYC. Went for lunch with two friends and sat in the open window. The sushi was so delicious as were the appetizers. We had the edamame and soft shell crab and sea eel (a must have). We ordered the OMG, Yoda, and Love Me Specialty rolls which we as beautiful as they were flavorful. The drinks were on point (Lychee martini was perfect and not overly sweet).
Overall, the food and atmosphere were good. The hostess was polite and helpful. I would say, compared to other sushi restaurants I've been to, the presentation of their hand rolls could have been a lot better. Presentation is part of the meal and I had to knock it down a star.
One of the most delicious sushi rolls I had tried!!! Large portion of sushi and ingredients and small portion of rice, which make rolls so delicious
